Matador of the week was a difficult decision. So many athletes ran fantastic. On the girls’ side Lara Jansen ran a BIG TIME race as well as Grace. Jessica definitely needs recognition for not giving Cal a blade of grass in the kick.

However, this week we are honoring our seniors with this award. Andrew, Kara, and Russell have been making great improvements all season (Andrew’s been averaging over 40 miles a week, Kara is running injury-free, and Russell has been doing some fast 6 milers). Doug has been a leader on and off the race course every day. Becky showed determination and some of her track speed. Corinne proved that hardwork and a “can do” attitude pay off.
