Where: Granada High School
When: Saturday, August 16, 2008 starting at 6pm and ending by 8pm.
Who: Local running club to benefit Granada High School Cross Country. Everyone and all abilities are welcome. This will be an informal event.
Cost: $6 for unlimited races
Events: 100M, 400M, Mile or 1600M, 200M, 2000M, 4×800M Youth v. Masters - races and race event schedule are subject to change.

PHYSICALS

All-
We have been getting calls from parents of your student athletes
complaining to us that they were not aware of the physical date that we
are offering on the 12th of August at LifeStyleRx. As I know this
information was sent out by Clark a few weeks ago, I ask that you PLEASE
pass this information onto your student athletes as soon as possible.
This will be the only night that we are offering them and I can tell you
that at some local doctors offices, the wait is a month out to schedule
an appointment for a physical. I will make flyers available in the
school office on Monday.

Also, Clark sent out the new physical form and where the students can
download that form. I will have some available but we ask that the
students bring this information with them already filled out. It is much
lengthier than the past physical card BUT for good reason.

The 2008 schedule has been updated. The name of the five invitationals that we will be attending now link out to the meet websites.

2008 TEAM T-SHIRTS

Team t-shirts have been ordered for the 2008 season. This year the shirts are a white, thin 50/50 blend that are nice to run in. The writing is black. There is a limited supply of shirts. Sizes include Adult S, M, L, and XL at $15. There is also a few Adult XXL and XXXL at $20. SUMMER RUNNING SCHEDULE CHANGE

This week runners will meet at Independence Park at 8:30 on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. On Tuesday and Thursday the runners will meet at Granada at 8:30. Expect the schedule to change again next week.
